Each course has a limit to the number of students. Courses will be filled in the order the request is received. Confirmation will be given by email invite for each course individually. Training Fee of $50/day includes lunch, curriculum, and a GSI hat. Registration must be received 2 business days prior to start date, cancellation must be received 2 business days prior to start date. No call/no shows will be automatically billed for the course.

 


Sales Training - back up

Sales Training Purpose: This training will provide participants with training on the new 40-series line of producer bins, material handling equipment and training on GSI’s dryers.

Objectives:  After completing this course participants will be able to:

Who Should Attend? Dealer sales professionals who need to update their product knowledge and improve their professional sales skills.

Prerequisites:  None.


New Product Training - back up

DAY 1:
New Product Sales Training Purpose:
This training will provide dealers with an introduction to the new 40-series line of producer bins and VersaLoop.  It will review the new features and benefits of the 40-series bins and will provide opportunities for participants to gain an in-depth understanding of this product.  Bin accessories, fans and heaters, sweeps and unloads, and additional storage products required to deliver a proven and dependable system to producers will also be covered in this training.  Participants will also need to bring their laptop as they will gain hands on experience using the GSI configurator to design storage systems that will meet the needs of their customers.

Objectives: After completing this course participants will be able to:

Who Should Attend? Sales professionals responsible for the design and selling of GSI storage products.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of GSI storage products.

Day 2:
GSI 40-Series Bin Builder Course - Purpose: 
This course will provide awareness along with the essential information needed by the construction teams to efficiently construct the new 40-series line of farm bins.  This course will prepare the construction teams for the changes they will experience before they arrive on site to build the tanks. Best practices on site preparation, safety and construction will also be covered in this course.

Objectives:  After completing this course learners will be able to:

Who Should Attend? Construction team leaders and associates that are involved with bin construction.

Prerequisites:  The attendee must have and understanding of grain bin parts and general construction practices.


Associate Service Course - back up

Course Purpose: This course will provide the introduction to GSI products needed by new technicians to construct and service GSI products including the new 40-Series line of farm bins and accessories, material handling equipment and Vision controlled GSI dryers. Commercial PLC controlled dryers will be covered on the final day of the training. On selected dates, OSHA training will be made available to participants prior to the GSI portion of the training.

Objectives:  After completing this course learners will be able to:

Who Should Attend? New technicians with no formal training and limited experience working on GSI grain handling products. Additionally, experienced technicians who would like a refresher on GSI products are encouraged to attend as well.

Prerequisites:  Employment by a GSI dealer.

Curriculum:
Storage:  4002 & 4004, 4024, 4022 & 4032, Hopper Tanks, Fans & Sweeps
Material Handling:  Air Systems, Chain Loop Systems, Bucket Elevators, Chain Conveyors, Belt Conveyors, Intersystems Products
Dryers:  Portable, T&F, Commercial, TopDry


Advanced Producer/Farm Service Course - back up

Course Purpose: This course will build upon the associate level course by providing hands on opportunities for technicians to troubleshoot and gain expanded technical knowledge on GSI products.   An extensive review of product changes, along with troubleshooting best practices and lessons learned will be shared at these trainings.

Objectives:  After completing this course learners will be able to:

Who Should Attend?  Experienced technicians with prior training or experience servicing GSI products.

Prerequisites:  Completion, Test-out or waiver of GSI Associate Farm Service School.

Curriculum:
Storage:  4002 & 4004, 4024, Hopper Tanks, Fans & Sweeps
Material Handling:  Air Systems, Chain Loop Systems, Bucket Elevators, Chain Conveyors,
Dryers:  Portable, T&F, TopDry


Advanced Processor/Commercial Service Course - back up

Course Purpose: This course will build upon the associate level course by providing hands on opportunities for technicians to troubleshoot and gain expanded technical knowledge on GSI products designed for grain processing facilities. An extensive review of product changes, along with troubleshooting best practices and lessons learned will be shared at these trainings.

Objectives:  After completing this course learners will be able to:

Who Should Attend?  Experienced technicians with prior training or experience servicing GSI products.

Prerequisites:  Completion, Test-out or waiver of GSI Associate Processor Service School.

Curriculum:
Storage:  4022 & 4032, Hopper Tanks, Fans & Sweeps
Material Handling: Bucket Elevators, Chain Conveyors, Belt Conveyors, Intersystems Products
Dryers: Commercial Tower Dryers


Safety Training - back up

OSHA 10 HR
Mandatory OSHA 10 hr construction. This program is intended to provide an entry level construction workers general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site.

Confined Space Training Tag-out / Lock-out
GSI’s written program required by OSHA that outlines the practices and procedures used to protect employees from the hazards of entry into confined spaces.
