Scott Clawson
Chief Executive Officer

Scott Clawson

Scott Clawson joined GSI Group, Inc. as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2007. Clawson has experience in strategy/business development, managing international operations, dealer/distributor networks, marketing and sales, manufacturing/supply chain, and lean manufacturing. Clawson strongly espoused “lean manufacturing,” which has also been introduced to GSI’s global manufacturing plants to fine tune GSI’s international growth strategy.

Previously, Clawson served as CEO of Ryko Enterprises, the largest vehicle wash system manufacturer in North America and second largest worldwide. During his time at Ryko, Clawson led the transformation of the company into a growth-oriented, market-focused organization by strengthening the distribution, sales, and marketing team and implementing lean manufacturing. From 1998 to 2003, Clawson held various roles at Danaher Corporation including Vice President of Business Development and Group Development Manager. From 2001 to 2003, Clawson was president of Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a $700M+ global leader in petroleum equipment and services.

Clawson graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Steven M. Silver

Steven Silver
Prior to joining Centerbridge, Steven Silver was a Managing Director and Partner of Vestar Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm. At Vestar, Silver was responsible for originating, negotiating and financing private equity investments in multiple industries including healthcare services and industrial and manufacturing as well as providing ongoing strategic direction to various portfolio companies. Silver began his career as a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions department of Wasserstein Perella & Co. in New York and London. While at Wasserstein Perella, Silver focused on managing the firm’s merchant banking portfolio as well as advising corporate clients on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

Silver received a B.A. from Yale College and an M.B.A. with high distinction from Harvard Business School in 1995, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar.


Stephen L. Key
Key Consulting, LLC

Stephen Key is the sole proprietor of Key Consulting, LLC, a financial consulting firm he founded in 2001. Between 1995 and 2001, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Textron Inc., a multi-industry company. From 1992 to 1995, Key was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ConAgra, Inc. Between 1968 and 1992, Key occupied multiple roles at Ernst & Young, including Managing Partner of the New York Offices, Partner in charge of Financial Services Group, and Senior Technical Partner for New York, from 1979-1983.

Key received an A.B. in Economics and Mathematics in from Dartmouth College in 1966 and an M.B.A in Finance and Economics from Cornell University in 1968. He also attended Graduate School as part of Arthur Young Non-Accounting Major Program for various accounting courses in 1969 at Northwestern University.


Kyle N. Cruz

Kyle Cruz

Prior to joining Centerbridge, Kyle Cruz was a Vice President at Diamond Castle Holdings, a private equity firm founded by former senior professionals of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners. Prior to Diamond Castle, Cruz had worked as an Associate at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and J.W. Childs Associates, a Boston based private equity firm. Cruz began his career as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department of Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Cruz graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Michigan where he earned a B.B.A., with High Distinction, and received an M.B.A., with honors, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.


William Camp

William Camp has served as a Senior Executive with over 30 years experience in the agriculture business, responsible for global manufacturing, processing and project management.

Camp was Executive Vice President/Strategic Planning at Archer Daniels Midland Co. from 2005 to 2007 and led ADM to its most profitable period with record earnings, more than $4.5 billion over that period. ADM has $44 billion in revenue and 27,000 employees in over 60 countries.

He also served as Senior Vice President, Global Oilseed, Cocoa, and Milling at ADM from 2002 to 2005, yielding an $875 million pre-tax profit. Camp developed ADM’s biodiesel business, which today is part of a multi-billion dollar global industry, creating synergistic value for all agricultural businesses.
