Director of Dealer Development

Job Details:
Office - Full Time - 1st Shift

Description:
Dealer Development Program
Assess channel, segment dealerships/contractors. Plan for shaping channel. Work closely with field sales teams. Determine, develop and implement support plan for dealers, GSI field teams. Develop and implement metrics for tracking revenue growth/share growth by market. Develop and Implement plan for GSI investment in dealerships for growth – including but not limited to subsidizing sales force additions by dealerships, deferring the cost of money for dealer investments in new branch offices/locations.

Tower Dryer Rationalization Initiative - Vision

Sales Tools
D&I value selling tools for each product category/major product group. D&I and/or refine ROI tools for dealers/GSI sales. D&I metrics to define success of tools. D&I training program for dealers and GSI sales teams.

Completes required reports on time

Travel will be required

Education/Skill Requirements:
Bachelors degree. Experience in similar role with manufacturer with channel. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet. Drivers license, passport, up to 50% travel. Additional language skills a plus. Sound business acumen with understanding of financial statements and financial metrics. Ability to gain consensus with multiple departments/functions, both within the company and throughout our channel. Ability to pull together complex plans and implement throughout our company and our channel. Understanding of margins, pricing and product line profitability. Value Selling skills and knowledge. Territory Management skills. In-depth understanding of market (its’ potential and competition). Demonstrated knowledge of “value” selling. Strong leadership skills – ability to lead without direct authority. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent business writing skills. Above average facilitation skills. Strong problem solving skills. Analytical skills. Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
